The Binary Board System is a highly flexible, customizable CGI application that handles a complete bulletin board system. It includes a user-based login system, and it handles as many separate boards as you would like. BBS started out as a small bulletin board application because, as a website administrator, I was fed up with our FrontPage-based boards continually crashing. When those boards failed, it resulted in hours of restoration and group downtime. The functionality and flexibility of this system continued growing, and it has become a very unique, powerful bulletin board system.

The best asset of this system is its flexibility. Setting up the system requires little work, and you don't have to be an expert to get it running.
